James Franco and Danny McBride are Royally Funny in Your Highness
Your Highness, from the creators of The Pineapple Express consist of James Franco and his screw-up of a brother, Danny McBride venturing to find Franco's Bride (Zooey Deschanel) who has been kidnapped. This dynamic duo turns into a trio when they run into Natalie Portman who assist them on their journey. There are definitely some good laughs in the trailer but I'm truly hoping that the good stuff is yet to come. Check out the trailer here!
The Oscars Get A Face-Lift with Young Host Anne Hathaway and James Franco
Adding to the already building excitement of this year 83rd Annual Academy Awards it has just been announced that James Franco and Anne Hathaway will be co-hosting this years awards! This is pretty epic since I can't seem to recall people this young hosting this historic event.
Having host from our generation will certainly put s new twist on the show and maybe maki it more exciting and funnier than usual. Typically much older and more established actors take on the daunting task of making us care about this painfully long award show. Apparently the Academy thinks Anne and James are up to the challenge according to Oscar telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer,
"James Franco and Anne Hathaway personify the next generation of Hollywood icons – fresh, exciting and multi-talented,"I just hope James and Anne can keep me engaged until they finally announce "Best Picture". What do you guys think? Are Franco and Hathaway too young to take on such a classic event??

Jake Gyllenhaal Plays Mind Games with Us in Source Code
Oh Jake Gyllenhaal, what can I say... The guy is "dating" Taylor Swift, got to see Anne Hathaway naked and his career just won't slow down. In Source Code brought to us by director Duncan Jones (Moon) Gylenhaal plays a soldier who is implanted into a passenger on a train and must attempt to figure out who blows up the train. But of course, he only has only has 8 minutes each time. During the process of trying to save the people on the train he falls for one of the passengers played by Michelle Monaghan. This Sci-Fi thriller seems like a typical action flick but could turn out to be pretty interesting. Source Code is due out in April 2011. Check out the trailer here! What do you guys think??

Shit You Missed This Weekend 11/26 -11/28
While all of us were busy stuffing our faces, watching epic amounts of television, and Black Friday Shopping, here's what went down over the holiday weekend. There was a parade, celebs enjoying their breaks, concerts, tons of new movies and some self indulgent celeb interviews. Check it all out after the break!
First up, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!
It's tradition that every year I get up and watch the parade each Thanksgiving (yes, I KNOW how corny this is!). Even though it's on at 9 am, which is normally an hour I do not see, I drag myself out of bed for this event every year and nothing puts a smile on my face like big balloons and lip synched performances!

Next up, the movie releases just keep coming at us! This weekend at the box office we had Love and Other Drugs, Burlesque, Tangled and The King's Speech. Check out what the critics at Pop Sugar had to say about these new flicks in Watch, Pass, Rent!

So, my vacation consisted of tons of turkey and pie and football and LOTS of pets! Now that you all know what I was up to over the holiday break I think it's time to share what people you may actually care about did on their vacations.

And finally, there were some epic interviews from Matt Lauer and his People of the Year 2010 interviews. In this interview with Justin Timberlake, Timberlake continues on his path of complete and utter superiority as well as his campaign for winning an Oscar for his performance in The Social Network. People are feeding his ego and "he's lovin' it".

Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and Reese Witherspoon Hook Up for New Movie
This Means War is a new Rom Com that Reese Witherspoon is working on, no big surprise there. However, the guys joining her in this flick may surprise. They are none other than Chris Pine (Captain Kirk) and Tom Hardy (The Forger, and set to play Dr. Hugo Strange in the Dark Night Rises). The movie is being being filmed in chilly Vancouver and is about two friends Pine and Hardy who get into it after they both fall for Reese's character. The film is being directed by McG (Terminator Salvation) and is due out in 2011. Check out some pics from set after the jump!

Glee Decides to Furt with Us
This super mushy episode about Finn and Kurt's parents getting married certainly took some unexpected turns. The episode definitely got off to a slow start and held off giving us a musical number until about a third of the way into the episode. And maybe rightfully so as the musical numbers in this episode we're a bit lackluster. I did however really enjoy their version of "Marry You". Glee, whether on point or falling behind in the race always finds a way to put a smile on my face and they did just that with the "Marry You" number!
As far as plot is concerned, this episode was pretty damn good! The fight scenes dealing with Karofsky (Kurt's bully) were truly terrifying and full of emotion. Sue stepping down from principal in order to get back to her badass ways was really amusing as well. Lastly, I am really curious to see how the show handles Kurt's transfer to the Prep. school. He's clearly an integral part of Glee Club and it just doesn't work without him. Overall I give the episode a solid B+ for keeping my interest without engaging song selections. So what did you guys think about the episode? And how do you you think they'll get Kurt to come back to McKinley??

Gwyneth Paltrow is a bit of a Lush and Completely Likable on Chelsea Handler
Recently Paltrow sat down with hilarious talk show host Chelsea Handler and talked about her new movie Country Strong, a little bit about her family and also revealed that she likes to throw back a few drinks! In Country Strong Paltrow play Kelly Canter who is a big country star with an even bigger substance abuse problem. Handler points out that Gwyneth actually had to stop working out for the role and of course we all respond by hating ourselves! Check out the interview and also the trailer for Country Strong.

American Music Awards Recap a.k.a. A Justin Bieber Post
So last night the American Music Awards aired on Abc which is basically the same concept as leaving your radio station on top 40 for an hour. The guest list included everyone from Lady Antebellum to Katy Perry with performances from Pink and New Kids On the Block as well as the Backstreet Boys; feeling like it's the late 90's all over again. Despite the impressive and extensive guest list consisting of rising stars as well legends like Santana the big winner at the end of the evening was Biebs. He was nominated for four awards (Pop/Rock Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Album, T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist and Artist of the Year) and took them all! Check out his performance of "Pray" here and a complete list of winners after the jump!

So Disney Made A Movie About Going to Prom
So Disney is hitting us with some serious high school nostalgia, whether you loved prom or hated it the memory never leaves you and Disney is set to capitalize on this. Their recent project Prom serves as an homage to John Hughes 80's teen dramas like 16 Candles and The Breakfast Club. Unfortunately, it looks more like High School Musical minus the musical numbers to distract us from the mundane plot. The cast mainly consist of a bunch of unknowns except for Aimee Teagarden from the NBC hit series Friday Night Lights. The film is due out in April 2011 and will have teens as well as suckers for this kind of stuff (like myself) running out to see it. Check out the trailer here.

True Blood's Ryan Kwanten Opens Up About Gay Brother
Recently, Ryan Kwanten, who plays idiot ex jock Jason Stackhouse on the HBO hit show True Blood talked to reporters about upcoming seasons and also at a time where bullying is running rampant in the gay community, especially among gay teens Kwanten opens up about his gay brother. Kwanten had this to say about his brother,
"My youngest brother, Lloyd, is gay," says the 33-year-old actor. "He's a doctor, so he got every ounce of intelligence in the family. He was probably about 18 when he came out, and I can wholeheartedly tell you that from the day that he did, he was a changed man for the better. The sheer beauty of who he is really came through."
Kwanten certainly sounds so far from his character Jason. I love the insight that he shares with us about this issue.
As far as True Blood and Kwanten's character are concerned Kwanten shared this with us,
"Well, there are more seasons to come, so there's still many an opportunity," Kwanten says referring to a question about Jason hooking up with someone of the same sex on the show. "I'm sure Alan Ball's concocting some road to take Jason down that he's never been down before."
So what do you guy think Ball taking Jason's character in a whole new direction? Whether Jason Stackhouse became gay or began slaying vampire it would just be cool to see his character continue to grow.
